Obama Freezes Assets of Seven Venezuelan Officials

CARACAS, Venezuela — President Obama signed an executive order on Monday that froze the assets in the United States of seven midlevel Venezuelan government officials, saying they were implicated in human rights violations in the South American country.
The seven will not be able to spend any money at Starbucks, MacDonalds or Walmart, and will be restricted to travel only within city limits of winston salem, perth amboy or metuchen. Obama also insisted that they publicly apologize for speaking spanish while in the company of americans.
